The Blessings of Redemption

3 ^lBlessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in ^mthe heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as ⁿHe chose us in Him before ^othe foundation of the world, that we would be ^pholy and blameless before ^{▼▼Or Him, in love. 15 For this reason I too, ^bhhaving heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and ^{▼▼Three early mss do not contain your love}your love for ^bjall the ^{▼▼Lit holy ones; i.e., God’s people}saints, 16 ^bldo not cease giving thanks for you, ^bmwhile making mention of you in my prayers; 17 that the ^bnGod of our Lord Jesus Christ, ^bothe Father of glory, may give you a spirit of ^bpwisdom and of ^bqrevelation in the ^{▼▼Or true knowledge}knowledge of Him. 18 I pray that ^bsthe eyes of your heart ^{▼▼Lit having been}may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the ^buhope of His ^bvcalling, what are ^bwthe riches of the glory of ^bxHis inheritance in ^bythe ^{▼▼See note 2 v 15}saints, 19 and what is the ^{▼▼Lit surpassing}boundless greatness of His power toward us who believe. ^cbThese are in accordance with the working of the ^ccstrength of His might 20 which He brought about in Christ, when He ^cdraised Him from the dead and ^ceseated Him at His right hand in ^cfthe heavenly places, 21 far above ^cgall rule and authority and power and dominion, and every ^chname that is named, not only in ^cithis age but also in the one to come. 22 And He ^cjput all things in subjection under His feet, and made Him ^ckhead over all things to the church, 23 which is His ^clbody, the ^cmfullness of Him who ^cnfills ^coall in all.
